This is my wife’s job”—“

I’m not a male chauvinist *& %!!!, but there are a great many things, at which my wife is simply the best person for the job. One of them is picking up our dog’s doo in the garden and taking it, (the dog) for walks, and feeding it and us. whoa! There, it’s not what you think, please just hear me out.

Another of her jobs is buying the groceries, fetching the delivered newspaper, answering the land line, heck, she even has to answer the doorbell. Things break down so she acts like a golf caddy, carrying my handyman tools about for me, Man she does everything!

Oh, I almost forgot to mention, I can actually breathe, eat and sleep without too much assistance from her.

This was pretty much the case for the past few years since I had a leg amputation, had suddenly gone blind in both my eyes and was diagnosed with advanced emphysema in both lungs and, type 2 diabetes and, you guessed it, I was dying!

That was then, and this is now, 6 years later ”—“

I had been given back my eye sight through laser surgery, had mysteriously lost all traces of emphysema and I was making no headway using the prescribed diabetic meds, so I threw away the insulin and pills, thanks to some groundbreaking research done by U.S. Doctor Joe Mercola Md. He had changed to taking ½ teaspoon of powdered cinnamon per day.

At that point, I had been severely hyperglycemic ( sugar levels Too High) until my first dose of cinnamon.

(I dab a banana in a saucer of ½ teaspoon of cinnamon powder and munch away.) After the very first dose, I was almost hypo-glycemic. (Too Low) I started this program 2 years ago and am still going strong. I do some moderate exercise and eat mainly low G.I. foods. My doctor has finally accepted the fact that my taking the cinnamon, has not affected me adversely, so far. Many of my diabetic friends have opted for this health regime and have suffered no ill health as a consequence.

P.S. I have become a lot more mobile since the times I mentioned above and am ecstatically happy to say that I now perform most of those chores previously done by my dearest angel over the past 40 years.

My husband takes cinnamon supplements as well. The nurse practitioner at his doctor's office recommended them. He did see a downward jump as well when he started. He still takes his medication, but if we run out and he goes a day or two without cinnamon, he sees his numbers jump up.

I'm so happy to read that you are in better health now, than what you describe in this post.

That sounds good. My sister is diabetic. I must let her know.
