Writing Prompt: If I Were Twelve and Looked Into The Future…
Hey there, everyone. I found a writing prompt and I want to give it a whirl. The prompt asks “If you were 12 and looked at yourself in the future, would you be happy?”
My answer is yes. I would be happy.
When I was 12 years old, I got picked on in middle school and I didn’t have many friends. I was a wrestling fan, but I haven’t been to many events and I hadn’t met any wrestlers. I’m not even sure I got much of an allowance back then, which really wasn’t important to me at the time.
Looking forward to now, I have a bunch of great friends and I don’t have to worry about anyone picking me. I had been to many wrestling events and met a lot of wrestlers, including most of my favorite wrestlers. I am working from home and earning my own money. I am also a proud Aunt to a bunch of nieces and nephews. So yes, I think I would definitely be happy. :)
The only downfall would be looking into the future and realizing my Daddy had passed away two years ago. I still had my Daddy when I was 12 years old.
Well, that pretty much answers this writing prompt. I think it was pretty interesting, and you guys are welcome to try it out on your own profile. I’m gonna wrap this up because I am almost finished with my work. I want to get finished, watch AHS Hotel and hit the hay. I have caught up to most of my interacting, except the comments I received yesterday. I may have to wait on catching up to those because my laptop is being annoying.

May i ask why you got picked on in middle school? Was it because you were a wrestling fan?

It was for a lot of stupid reasons; mainly because I had bad breakouts, didn't have name brand clothes, always wore my hair pulled back, etc. - it was all just really stupid and rude.
It was a mixture with the wrestling fan thing; some kids picked on me for it, other kids talked to me about it. The reasons I listed above were the main reasons tho.

I'm sorry to hear that you were picked on. My husband got picked on a lot as well. He had a hard time. I'm glad that things are better for you now.

It's a stupid reason to pick on anyone. Like, who cares what brand of clothes someone wears? Take the time to get to know them, not their wardrobe.

Thanks, and I'm sorry he had to deal with it as well. Kids can be so rude, especially during the middle school years. :-/
