Hi gang,

I plan to catch up on reading tonight. First of all though, I'd like to ask for your help, if I may. Not for myself, but for a very special little girl who is also going to have a very difficult Christmas this year. I'm not going to ask for monetary donations, just something to help her heal and feel loved this year.

Little five year old Sayfre Terry now lives in Schenectady, New York, with her Aunt Liz. Until just a very few weeks ago, she lived in a loving home with her three sisters and her Daddy. Tragically, her Daddy and all three of her sisters were killed in a fire that was set by an arsonist. Little Sayfre was saved because her Daddy sheltered her tiny body with his own.

Sayfre suffered severe burns to her face, and she lost her right hand and a foot.

When asked what she wants for Christmas this year she said she'd like Christmas cards from all over the world.

So, I'll post her address at the end of this.

If some of you could send her a card to wish her a Merry Christmas and wish her well, I know she'd be so happy. Please, could some of you take just a few minutes to send her a card and your love?

I understand, of course, if you don't feel you're able to do this. I'll send her a card myself. It would be the only gift I'll ask for this year if I can bring a smile to her face, if only for a few moments.

Whether you can write her or not, God bless you all.

Here's the address just in case.

Sayfre Terry

From the story I read, this little girl receives thousands of cards and hundreds of packages every year and recently received an all-expense paid trip to Disney World. Does anyone need more proof that there really is a Santa Claus?

I sent her a Christmas card and there was another little boy they mentioned on Facebook that had some kind of health issue who just like her wanted cards for Christmas and I sent him one too.
