The Telephone Was Ringing in My Dreams

I heard it. It actually woke me up from a deep sleep.
I am not sure how long I was sleeping. I know it had been awhile. My laptop computer was still on my lap with the little tray-desk separating it from my legs. My fingertips were still poised on the keys, as if I were sleep-typing.
It took me a little while to become coherent enough to understand where I was and that I needed to find the phone to answer it. When I did, it was RGD letting me know he was back home from helping our granddaughter with her move.
It was nearly dark when he called at 3:30 p.m. Sunset today was a few minutes ago, at 4:19 p.m.
I never made it to go comparison phone shopping, nor am I going to head too far out now that it is dark, raining, and without a phone for emergencies. It shall have to wait until tomorrow.
I did just find out that there is a free 3-D "Sneak preview" of In the Heart of the Sea playing over at the base theatre. I think I am going to head out for that now, as the price is right and the doors are now open for a 6:00 p.m. show.
They do not allow electronic devices with recording capabilities (cell phones) during those free sneak previews. I will not have to worry about leaving it at home or in the car tonight.
Tomorrow will be comparison shopping day.

There's nothing like a ringing phone to ruin a good sleep.

I had several weird dreams in the short time between Pee O'Clock and when I did get up for the day and some of them felt quite real.
In The Heart of the Sea is one of the rare movies I hope to get to see while it is still in theaters. That, and the new Star Wars movie.

That is nice that you will get to view the "sneak preview" for free. Deals like that can't be passed up.

I seldom remember my dreams, but I once woke up from a nap convinced someone was at the door. There wasn't.
