A Foggy Day in London Town

No, I am not in London, as the song title or this blog entry might suggest, but it is to be foggy much of the morning, and sun this afternoon. It is a bit chilly at 33F and because of the moisture in the air, it is bone-chilling. We are to see about 10 degrees F higher today, which is a bit chillier than our average for this time of year.
I remember nine years ago around this time, I was looking forward to leaving the following week to go to Sweden, and it was warmer there than it was here. We were experiencing temperatures around 17F degrees!
Today I do plan on getting out for that coffee I missed yesterday, so I will head out after I am finished here. I will take the pink scarf with me to Starbucks and work on it there, while I have my coffee.
Have a great Sunday!
Here is crooner Mel Torme singing A Foggy Day!

It was pouring with rain here this morning about 500 or 600 miles from London town. Tonight we MAY have snow. It is to sweep in across the northern half and our little village is just at the edge of the suggested snow area. Luckily, being by the sea, it doesn't usually last for long!

Living on the Puget Sound, we are in the same boat, so to speak!

It was rainy this morning but not too foggy!

Be sure that coffee is warm as toast so it can take the chill out of your bones... Enjoy!

It is dreary, cloudy and lightly raining here. It is also not that cold and there is a mugginess in the air.

Oh.... won't tell you how nice and sunny it is here. It's relatively chilly at night—California chilly, that is roughly 50°F.

Still quite cloudy here and damp with sprinkles. It is suppose to get chillier here as well. I keep hoping maybe we will see some snow this year like we did a few years ago.

Spending some time at Starbucks would be nice but then so is spending the afternoon watching old Christmas movies.

Gack! Don't tell me you are into "It's a Wonderful Life" and "Miracle of 34th Street"?? LOL

We watch "Miracle on 34th Street" every year on Thanksgiving Day after turkey.

When you describe the very cool and foggy weather you are having in the morning, It makes me appreciate more living in a tropical climate. I hope you enjoyed your coffee.

It's much colder than usually here, too, or maybe I've just forgotten what winter is like after all the hot weather. It will warm up soon, though. I'll tell you why in my next post.

It's been warming a little the last couple of days, because there is now cloud cover.
