Is This New Writing Site Sustainable?

I came across a new writing website through a member of Persona Paper. I had since joined the website because I like the interface and there does seem to be some earning potential.

Members earn points for each view, each comment and each like that they get. It's like Bubblews except that it gives members points and members have to reach 5000 points before they can request a payout.

At the moment, 5000 points is equal to US$15 which means that each point is about US$0.003 or US$3 for 1000 points. This is quite high, I think. I wonder if this is sustainable. I will try to reach 5000 points and see if I get paid. There are payment proofs on the website so I guess this website is legit.

What writing site are you talking about? I'm curious to know. I do agree that with that rate, it is high. No idea if it is sustainable or not as it depends on a lot of things.

What is the name of this website? I would like to check it out.

I don't know if it's okay for me to mention the website here. I don't want to break any rules. That is why I haven't mentioned the website. Perhaps I can PM you the name of the website.

Unlike other websites, the admins of Persona Paper have always allowed its members to discuss other sites. This site is unique in this sense. Do let us know which site you are talking about. You will not be breaking any rules. (Referral links are not allowed though).

Thanks for the info. Will check out the site.

I am also there and wondering about the same thing. I like the site, but they control how many points you can earn a day. Supposedly you can do products to increase your point level, but the easiest project requires recruiting someone to sign up and when people I invited tried, they were told they weren't taking new sign-ups. They said it was due to a glitch in the referral system, but I wonder if it's an excuse to keep a lid on how many people can raise their point levels so that they won't have to owe more than they can pay? I've had to cut activity there as everywhere else because of my surgeries, but since they are over now, I'm more active again. I still think investing in one's own blogs is the best use of time, but I do like being part of a community, too.

Paulie , they are not taking new members right now. New registrations have been closed until they fix the referral system. I have reviewed this site on my http://barbs-writing-life.info/ blog. It's one of the two most current posts, I think. The latest one was just to announce the demise of Bubblews. If you decide to join after they start accepting new members again, be sure to do someone the favor of letting them refer you, since getting a sign-up means a lot in helping a person complete a project necessary to increase the daily point limit.

Thanks Barb. I will go to your site when I have time and review this new site.

In that case, the website I'm talking about is mykites.net. Check it out. There are not many members yet so it's not as active.

UmiNoor wrote on November 17, 2015, 2:29 AM

That is true. It's better to invest in your own blog. You are in control. I hope to begin a blog. I have an account with Blogger but with all the things that are happening in my life, I can't be so active online.

Thanks for the information. Is that for real? Anyway, I wanna give a try. Hope it is not just like Bubblews scam.

BarbRad The site you are mentioning is blogjob but UmiNoor is talking about another one called mykites.net. I am a member of blogjob too and i also wondered why they are not letting new members join.

Sounds kind of interesting. What's the name of this new writing site? Keep us posted on more details on what it's like to write on that site.

That's a great tip thank you. I have been away from here and Bubblews for ages.

I have sort of given up looking for new writing sites for now. Currently I'm a member of three and hey, news to me that Bubblews has given up the ghost.

Thank you very much for the post. I just visited the site 2 minutes ago, registered and will go back later to start wrtting. There does not seem to be any problem for posting so far on that site. They did not ask me for referrals or whatever. So far so good. Again thank you.
