How are things in your neck of the woods?

I have awakened this morning to a grey, cool 43F/6C, and breezy Thursday morning with winds of 11 mph/18 kmh. The winds are going to kick up this afternoon to 21 mph/33.7 kmh. It looks like we have a 55 to 90 percent chance of rain all day, starting at about 11 a.m. into the night and for the next week with temperatures mostly in the 40s (F).

I am leaving this to go to Tampa on Saturday. It is currently sunny and 83F/28C and the week will be more of the same with a few clouds arriving when I get there. As long as it stays warm, I think I might see work as a vacation!

I also woke up to a surprise in my email. But, as with some things from last night's post, I will have to tell you later. emoticon :winking:

I want to get to Tacoma to get my nails done at my favorite shop before it gets too nasty out there. Hopefully, I can beat the rain before it starts so I do not have to drive in it on my way home.

Have a good day!

Chilly in the evenings and nights in the 40s. 70s and 80s during the day in LA.

In Central Louisiana it is in the 60's during the day with sun, clouds and rain at times.

It is sunny, warm (around 70 degrees) and muggy here today where I live.

Storm Abigail has arrived, though not in full force yet. Up until recently, the UK did not name storms but has started now and this is the first piece of weather to be strong enough to have a name. I am NOT going to say "welcome Abigail" I hope she leaves very quickly. It will mainly affect Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Rain seems to be the thing at the moment, we were supposed to have a sunny day, but I ended up sheltering in a coffee shop while drip drying!

Hi Coral. I'm doing well, but my plans for PP have been on and off so far, as I'm sure you've noticed. I'm doing my best to correct this, however. It is very cold here at the moment, and I think we'll have snow sooner than later now. My Aussie Grandmum is returning to Australia to visit with her children and Grandchildren on Saturday. She'll be gone for a month, and I wish I could go with her! Enjoy your time in Tampa!

Maybe you will love Tampa so much that you will want to move there.

Okay days with cold cold cold nights here and, that's okay since the cold means more work for me and I'm up working, anyway.
