I Visited Bubblews

I have not been to Bubblews in quite some time. I removed all, but one, articles long ago. I recently removed all those I followed, so that I would not get a list of things, if I had nothing there. But on occasion, I would come check-in to read and comment from time-to-time.

This morning, I stopped on in, and looked at their front page. I recognized only three names on the entire page of articles on the page.

I also scanned the list for articles regarding the "temperature" there at the site. It certainly does not have the negativity that was so prevalent a year ago, but there were two articles written by people who are now leaving the site--Wendy Spickerman and Elizabeth Wallace, both of whom I consider to be professional in how they write and present their communication.

From what I can tell, Arvind, Bear, and Tyler have not written anything since this past summer, three to four months ago.

I was unable to tell whether or not payments were being made, or if anyone has even reached the $50 cash out level. I did not see any more about the threats of lawsuits, going to the Better Business Bureau, or anything else money-related. Nor have I seen anything more on the newest and greatest Sweeble application from mid-year, but I did not delve too deeply.

I have to wonder if this rag-tag team, of those who believe they are taking over the world, has moved on to the next of what will be their collective newest and greatest of failed inventions.

I feel so out-of-the-loop.

Speaking truthfully I am glad to be out of the Bubble Ooze loop - it was more of a noose than a loop!

LoudMan wrote on November 7, 2015, 3:35 PM

I even hate remembering those folks. Arvind Dixitallup did me and so many others wrong. So much for his "vastly superior intelligence."

It's great to feel out of those kinds of loop!

I miss some of the connections I had made at the Ooze as I've not found those folks anywhere else as of yet. When I left there, I haven't looked back.

After reading all the articles on that 'B' site I am kind of glad I did not progress to far there.

Interestingly, I stopped by there this morning myself. The first thing I saw was an article by Elizabeth Wallace saying her goodbyes to the site and her followers - she is moving on. She felt there was no reason, financially or socially, to remain a participant. I wonder how widespread that sentiment is becoming among those remaining on the site.

I have not been there forever but did leave my account open. Dont miss it, but do miss the easy money lol

It's certainly not as busy as it used to be.

I left Bubblews shortly after the New Year's Eve bomb. I stick my nose in once in a while, but I'm not active there anymore.

Gossamer wrote on November 7, 2015, 7:12 PM

I visit there most days, but just to read and like my friends' posts. Usually less than five minutes per visit. I doubt I will ever post anything there.

I really think Karma will come back to bite Arvind and the others.

I remember Wendy and Elizabeth. Things must have become really sour over there if they are both leaving.

Well, the temperature there is not good, believe me. I am still there and I am keeping up with whatever information I can gather. As for the staff, there are none of them left. They are all gone. The only thing I know is that Arvind and Jason still own the site. That's about it. Even the moderator there has not heard hide nor hair from the top dogs. And after reading her comment on a post, she is basically not the moderator now and feels that they are running it on autopilot to see how it works with no one running the show. That is horrible and bad business in my book. As for payments, well, a few people have posted that they did get paid with their most recent redemptions. How long will it last from this point on? I have no idea. What amazes me is that it is surviving this long. We have all seen other sites pop up like it that went down in a ball of fire was quicker then they did. But, the loan person that I am, I will remain there until the bottom falls out. Same here. I will remain here until something gives. I know with persona paper, they are having a somewhat hard time as well. The activity here is down to a crawl as well. The earnings though seem steady. We all have to face the fact that neither Bubblews nor Persona Paper might survive. I am so glad that MyLot was bought back by the original owners. They are the best site around now. And they have been doing this way longer than these sites have. In order to make a site like work, you need to nurture it. And also believe in it. Otherwise it will fail miserably.

I haven't logged on to Bubblews in a number of months. I'm still pissed that they haven't paid me for outstanding redemptions. What is a Sweeble application?

morilla wrote on November 8, 2015, 12:22 AM

I pretty much stopped participating a couple/three months ago. I've deleted over half my content and, one of these days, I might pare it down to just what's left that counts toward the current redemption. However, since I've only accumulated $1.78 toward the $50, I'm not optimistic. One of the reasons you might not have been able to find people posting about redemptions is that, I think , they actually banned such posts; at least for a time. Too many people with too much 'upset' were posting, others were concerned, and very few were building up enough to redeem. If it's on 'autopilot' at this point, the few who are posting might be 'getting away with it' simply because no one is looking. All in all, not a very encouraging state of affairs.

I personally, just feel sadness about the whole thing. I'm not angry and I am thankful for all the good times I had there. I managed to make one very good friend there and I will always be thankful for that. I feel, the truth of the matter is just that they didn't know what they were getting into and were soon in way over their heads. They should have been honest when that happened. You can't blame them for trying, though.

So glad I got 'kicked' there when i dared to ask for my hard earned money..i do check in on old friends from time to time though.

I just wish all those people who are good, quality concious writers and still loyal and active there would come over to this site. We could use some new members and some activity here.

Wow, I have Bubblews account before, I am not sure, if it is still active. My last visit if I am not mistaken was about 6 months ago or more.

carebear4u wrote on November 9, 2015, 4:26 PM

I still write there (@pinkmonkey) I've got less then $2 to cash out there

CoralLevang wrote on November 9, 2015, 4:35 PM

I hope that when you do cash out there, you will write here about your experience with it, and how long it takes.

They ended up closing the site down it was a ghost town and it wasn't generating enough money to stay a float. Sadly I don't think anyone else got paid and many lost their work.
