Actor Burt Reynolds Big Regret

I just saw an online article about the actor Burt Reynolds. He is now age 79 and was being interviewed about a upcoming life memoir. He said the biggest regret in his life was breaking up with actress Sally Field who he dated for five years during the late 1970s and early 1980s. They had starred together in that movie called "Smoky And The Bandit" during that time frame and became a couple through meeting on the set of the movie. He said that he didn't realize the great woman that she was and broke up with her. He went onto marry actress Loni Anderson and that marriage didn't last long. He now says that Sally Field was the love of his life and he still has feelings for her and it still hurts how he let her go. Sally Field is age 69 and has not made any comment to the media about what he has said.

I'm sure everyone has regrets about incidents in their life, I have a very similar one to Burts' emoticon

This doesn't surprise me. I always thought they were good together.

People's regrets are always about relationships or happiness, never about wishing they had spent more time in the office!

I am sure we all have regrets and I really wonder what Sally Field would say and actually what Loni Anderson would say too!

I believe that about him. They did seem good together though. She was beautiful and still is. Hell, I would have married her. LOL. I was too young for her then.

I always liked Burt Reynolds and about 30 years ago my aunt had a pinup of Burt in her basement. Is Sally Field married now?

You can't get away from regrets, but it pays not to dwell on them I think

Regrets are part of our lives but we should not live with them

Perhaps if both of them still feel the same about each other, they can still be together. That is also on the condition that both are still single. Are both of them still unattached, I wonder?

Yes, I think they are both single at the moment.
