Finished Writing - I Think

On Target
I am on target to submit my thesis by the end of the month, I think. I finished writing today, earlier this evening. I am waiting for my supervisors to get back to me on a part that I emailed them yesterday, to see if it is good enough.
Next Job - Printing!
I now have to print the entire document (nearly 500 pages) out four times and save it onto a CD or DVD. Last time I did this (end of June), I used ordinary paper (80gsm) but you could see through on the other side. This is now the real submission, so iIwill use 120gsm, printing double sided, so each document will be about 250 pages thick.
Binding
After that, I have to get the theses bound. I have two binding machines but they won't do that thickness, so I will take it to a print shop, it will be quicker anyway.
Getting Nervous
I have put a lot of work into this - nearly 6 years, part time, so I hope it gets accepted. It's the discussion and conclusions that I find hardest. Those were not areas i did much of at school and have had no call to use them since, so am sort of learning as I go along. And, yes, it IS possible to fail!

As long as you did your best that is what matters. I am sure it is great

You will do just fine. Cross your fingers and a few prayers will not hurt.

MegL , it may be possible to fail, but I don't foresee that as the outcome for you. You are a bright, conscientious, diligent woman; this is going to work out just fine. : )

Why do you have to print out the theses four times? Will you have to defend your theses in front of a panel before it is accepted? And BTW, what is your theses topic?

Don't think of failing focus on your goal. If you gotta faith, don't let doubt get in in every form no matter how big or small it seems coz it can paralyzed your positive hope... God bless those who hopes without a doubt.

LOL, I am beginning to wonder - not so sure about that at the minute.

One goes to the external examiner, one goes to the internal examiner and I suppose one gets kept for reference. And I need one for me, because 6 weeks after submitting it, I have to defend it at a viva, in front of a panel of 3 people. I will write about the topic after it is accepted, though the "best" outcome is generally "minor corrections", which you get 3 months to do and resubmit. But it could be "major corrections" or even lower

I am wishing you the best of luck. I have never done a thesis or defended it so I can't really advise you.
