Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening world
After almost 48 hours of joining personapaper.com, this would be my first article (not that I have been inactive during those hours, in fact I was active, and I was actively following new users).
Hello everyone! I'm Christopher, or you can call me Chris for short and I am one of the new born writers here in persona. I want to tell you something about myself, and for this post I won't be using any formalities so as to express myself better, but rest assured that in my succeeding posts I would be writing in a more professional manner.
I am 20 turning 21. I have been very active in writing ever since I was in grade school. I was the Editor-in-Chief of the school's newspaper. You might say that it's not that difficult being EIC at a grade school newspaper (well, come to think of it, it was a less troublesome compared to my writing job currently).
During my grade school years , I joined many seminars and symposiums during this era trying to enhance my writing skills. I have also joined photo journalism which certainly wasn't easy for me. Getting right angles and something like that was really frustrating on my part (although my batch-mates told me it was the easiest for them)
In my secondary education I am one of the column editors and had been nominated to become the campus journal EIC. Unfortunately, I didn't make it since there was someone who was deserving than me during that time (and the crowds sympathy was not really on my side as well). Although they offered me a spot in the writing staff officers, I accepted since I wanted to impart my knowledge to the group and at the same time learn new thing from them as well.
Another unfortunate event is that I wasn't able to graduate during my secondary education (well, technically I did graduated but I haven't marched in my graduation) because I was already instructed to report to my college school.
In my college years (and currently) I have been the graphics artist (I'm also good at drawings and stuffs) and column writer as well (during my first year) the only thing difficult about this was trying to make tons of drawings for the articles but only one of them will be picked so it's really a brain draining position. When I was promoted to second year my position also got promoted. I have become the layout designer and graphics designer (graphics design was a little bit different from graphics artist, you do not make any drawings, instead you will pick a drawing from their submissions and get to input/apply collor in them.
CURRENTLY I am the Editor-in-Chief of the academy's magazine (west campus department) and Assistant Editor for the whole campus of the aforementioned magazine.
WHY I JOINED PERSONA?
I wanted to share the thoughts, event taking place here, ideas and stuffs that are currently needed to be given importance. Earning will be a bonus from this :)
Thanks for taking the time in reading this
