Feeling Like a Chicken Waiting for Slaughter

These next few days I will be "running around like a chicken with its head cut off." I have so much to do before being on-the-road with a special project training team. I am due in Dallas on Tuesday night.
Between laundry, cleaning, and packing, I have several other things I have to get done:
- Rearrange medical appointments
- Get nails done
- Banking and bill paying
- Shopping for business clothes suitable for 90F+ weather
- Put mail delivery on hold
- Arrange for shuttle to airport
- Buy makeup and travel toiletries
- Call cable company to have television service discontinued (I was going to do this anyway)
- Cook up food to freeze so I do not have to throw things away
- Finish writing an article for my friend re: non-profit issue
- Return DVDs to Library and suspend all holds until mid-November ( Dallas Buyers' Club will have to wait)
- Other "stuff" I am forgetting
Why do I seem to wait until (what seems to be) the last minute for everything?

Wal-Mart has a good deal on travel toiletries kits I bought one last night. $5.

Thank you for the recommendation. I probably have some here, but it would be nice to have something new.

I am sure you will get it all done with tie to spare.

Last minute is the only way I know how to get ready. Good thing I've got K as she is a meticulous planner.

Again, same gene pool here!

I like to leave things to the last minute, much more fun that way! Frequently things change and, sometimes, I save myself a little time and effort.

OOOOhhh! That's one way to look at it!
1I'll wait on buying the toiletries until I get there! Then I don't have to carry them. Hotel has soap and shampoo!

That's how I do it!
