Posting from the mall.

I decided to change scenery for a couple hours and spend some time writing at the mall. I also should really do some shopping while I'm here since I doubt I'll be on this side of town again for at least a week or two.

It's actually shaped up to be a pretty nice day so far. It's sunny outside and not too hot. Which is nice. It's supposed to stay in the sixties and seventies for the next few days and I'll admit I'm a big fan of that.

I just had lunch and figured I would catch up with my notifications as best I can and then write a little bit before going shopping. Plus this gives me an excuse to people watch, which is always helpful when writing. ;)

I just finished reading your sausage and egg breakfast sandwich post, and now we're having lunch? I'm going to get fat just reading your posts this morning! emoticon :winking:

Glad you are having a great day. Maybe some people will give you something to write about

While you're at the mall, if you stop by Starbucks, look to see if anyone is in my seat by the window, LOL.

If I were people watching at the mall, I probably would get more interested in some of the people I see than in my writing.

Chicken bacon ranch wrap. Lol. I had parmesan chicken and fried rice for dinner last night.

Today has been less healthy. Apple toaster strudel and dr pepper .

There were several people sitting in the window seats. They were packed.

There were quite a few of interesting people

And that's when I take a notebook and jot down a few thoughts on what goes on around me and the characters I see.

It seems like Starbucks clientele have changed around here. Used to be I could go in and sit down amongst the crowd and enjoy the quiet as people sipped their lattes and espressos and read a book, a newspaper, or worked on their laptop. Conversations, if any were quiet and private.

These days, the place is full of loud talking people on their bluetooth, or just loud groups who show no consideration for the others there. I long for the days when a Starbucks was a dignified place where people were courteous and considerate of each other.

I like the idea of taking a notebook and jotting down what happens. I must start doing that.

People watching is a good way of getting ideas for stories AND of relaxing.
