Spreading the Word
Some days it's tough to find something about which to write. Some days finding something to bring a smile to your face is worth its weight in gold. Some days you're simply looking for a creative outlet. In one fell swoop, you can find an answer to all three of these quests with Persona Paper member CoralLevang BEST CAPTION Writing Challenge/Contest .
You'll find all the details in her post, so there's no need for me to repeat them here. I do hope you'll consider taking part in the challenge/contest if you haven't done so already. The more that participate, the more fun it will be for all involved. Perhaps you'll also consider helping to spread the word about this to others.
While we're on the subject of challenges and contests, might you have an idea -- or two, or three -- about a challenge and/or contest in which interested members could participate? If so, why not share your idea in a post of your own? We can all help to spread the word about that, too. Pretty soon there will be lots of activity on the site while we're having fun with it.

Saw this already and joined the contest. We need activities like this to encourage more writers to join PP. Also, this contest encourages the current PPers to be more active in the site.

I find I run out of steam while thinking about writing. There are lots of esoteric things I am fascinated by, but they are really not that interesting.

It's no problem. I was trying to inform as many people as possible so that whoever might be interested could participate.
