The Weekend That Never Was Part 2

Previous weekend was not good, wrote a post about it and I thought that was it but I was wrong!
Last weekend October 3 and 4, ther were a good number of activities that I wanted to attend to. There was the COSPLAYMania event that featured booths selling comics, toys, costumes, and other merchandise from well-known cosplay suppliers from Japan and the rest of the world, cosplay contests, meet and greet and interviews with international cosplay talents, and a Japanese Anime Music concert. Now let me say that I'm not a big cosplay fan but this event is surely a treasure chest of great photo opportunities for a budding photographer like me. Did I say that out too loud? Ok, let em rephrase it... I'm not the best photographer out there yet, but I intend to be one!
Are there cosplay fans out here in Persona Paper?
In the same area, there was also a collegiate cheer dancing competition . Again lots of photo ops in my opinion. Plus, I love to watch cheer dancers! Cheer dancers are athletes as well in my opinion... and they are far more pleasing to the eyes! I was never part of a cheer leading team but I had an ex-girlfriend who was a cheer dancer. Anyone here in PP who was involved in cheerleading or cheedancing previously?
Up north, there was Komiket2015 . It is the first Filipino comics, books, and art market. Not sure what else was in store for those who attended but it would have been great to be there. I'm getting interested in local comics titles and that place is a good start to get to know up and coming talents.
Anyway, how was everyone's weekend? Oh and in case you are asking why I wasn't able to attend to any of these events, it was because life had other plans for me!

It seems like life always has other plans for you. I would have liked to see the cheerleader dancing competition.

Life has a way of doing that. I have never heard of cosplay. Ig sounds like a comic book convention. I have heard and watched television programs on cheer leading and cheer dancing. Your right they are athletes.

Yup... life and I doesn't always agree but we manage to co-exist! LOL!
1Managed to watch the cheer leading competition on tv but it would have been nice to see it live.

Cosplaying is big here in Asia, not sure if it is popular in the States. Cheer leaders are athletes in their own right.
