One O'Clock Check-In: Six hours since my daily goal was set

It has been six hours since I started my "Persona Paper Day." I set some steep writing and submission goals, especially since there were only 13.5 hours of PP time left on the clock.

I am more than 40 percent through the time allotted, so there may not be the time for me to do all that I want to do. I have been pretty much tethered to the computer.

I also had major glitch that may or may not affect my performance. Let's just say that there might be an issue that I need to address by taking the computer in for a check-up. I do not want to worry about it, so refuse to declare it.

At any rate, here is where I stand six hours after I began my 7:30 Start Article :

  • 8635 Coins from 8513, an increase of 122 coins
  • 7 Articles submitted, including this one, makes my 600th Article submitted on PP

With seven-and-a-half hours to go until my 9:00 p.m. (PP's midnight), will I achieve all 15 articles? I cannot say. I have not spent any time other than on this site today, and really need to get some things done in my day. But 10 will be quite doable.

But for now, I think that a shower, getting dressed, and eating something is in order.

That's amazing. I need to give that amount of dedication to my thesis over the next 4 weeks!

You're such a rock star. I haven't been as active this afternoon as I was this morning. But I will dedicate nine pm to eleven pm my time to being tethered if you will to PP, until then I'm in and out.

Keep up the good work. You have the gumption to do it.

The advantage that you have CoralLevang is that you live alone and don't have to answer to anyone. I could never set a goal like this and stay in front of a computer for so many hours because I know my wife would eventually tear me away from the computer.

Maybe one day a week you do the 12 hours straight. The others...8 hours....don't forget to take breaks, MegL !

And sometimes, living alone is not an advantage. emoticon  but I would not be setting these goals, if I were. They would be different goals.

Thanks, Lexi!

I appreciate the compliment. Thanks.

Would you mind sharing what some of these different goals would be?
