Guess Where I Am?

I am taking a few minutes of my day to say, "Hi!"

I am not at home. Nor am I posting from my phone. (Notice the punctuation, capitalized letters, formatting, and proper spelling.)

You may have now guessed. I am at my local town library, posting from "Public Computer 9." I have already checked out the movie, Mud, which I had on hold, and I have a two-disc collection of TV classics of Red Skelton, with nine episodes. These are different than those that I found at the Goodwill a couple of weeks ago.

I have already been to my oncologist for my monthly check-in and my Octreotide shot.

I also stopped for sushi lunch and met a great couple. They were obviously regulars; I am not nearly as regular. Cody and Dave were wonderful and we had some interesting conversation between us and our sushi chef, Anthony. I have been invited to their next "dinner party." I think I might just go.

Well, my time limit on the Internet is quickly coming to an end here, so I better close for now. I hope that all of you are having a wonderful day!

It sounds like at least part of your day was awesome.

"Cody and Dave" sounds like an original episode of Dual Survival . But, Red Skelton is likely more entertaining. emoticon

I use the internet at the library quite often. Usually one can be on the computer as long as they like!

I'm glad you were able to get time on the library computer. I haven't been to our county library in years. There is a branch in the little town just a few miles north but the hours it is open our not very convenient and the main library downtown is not in an area I like to go unarmed.

It sounds like you day had a little bit of everything, including meeting new friends. It doesn't get much better than that. : )

I haven't used a public library Internet since 2008. What is your time limit on line?

Rufuszen wrote on September 29, 2015, 6:41 AM

That is a real good looking library. Very modern. I saw the movie Mud. It was a good movie. I think you will like it. Enjoy your time there and chill.

Right here, less than 5 minutes from home... LOL

CoralLevang wrote on September 29, 2015, 1:30 PM

60 minutes per day. But our little local library will extend it for a little while, if people need it and there are not a lot of others waiting for a computer.

CoralLevang wrote on September 29, 2015, 1:31 PM

If only our library looked like the pixabay picture. LOL
Ours is a very small podunk-town type of library. They just broke ground for a new one though.

CoralLevang wrote on September 29, 2015, 1:32 PM

That almost sounded illegal. ROFLMAO

We had gotten a new one by me a few years ago. They had closed an old one down, so they moved it here. Nice looking inside.
