Envious of chirpy Chinese DJs in the morning
Every morning while taking the company shuttle to work, the driver always puts on the same radio station.
It's a Chinese channel with two DJs, one male and one female hosting the early morning show.
Despite the time, they would be chatting merrily, making all sorts of jokes and laughing their heads off.
In my half awake state, I would admire their ability to be so full of energy before 7 am in the morning.
And also envy them for having a job where you're paid to press buttons and make witty jokes.
Obviously, you have to have a nice voice too.
From the way it sounded, those DJs probably get along well in real life (you can tell when the camaraderie is faked).
On the flip side, I'm sure there are politics involved as there are in any job.
And unlike other jobs where too much socializing might get you the boot, as a DJ you might get fired if you stop talking.
