All Eyes on Brazil - World Cup 2014 Starts Today

The day all football supporters from around the world expected has come. It is the 12th of June and the World Cup 2014 in Brazil will finally start today.

This is the time of the year when everybody who cares for the king of sports will concentrate the attention on the tournament. We have 32 national teams at the World Cup 2014 in Brazil, who will be followed by millions of people from all around the world. I am sure that there is a worldwide football fever, which will make people glue to the TVs. The lucky ones will be there in the stadium, following the spectacle live from the spot. I think it is legit to say that all eyes are going to be set on Brazil.

I am very excited, I feel like a child again. And this is always a great feeling. I wish to see Germany triumph at last, but I have to say, I have no high hopes. But I will support them with all my energy.

Overall, I hope to see a nice celebration of the beautiful game called football and that there will be no incindence, despite the protests which are forecasted during the whole period of FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil.

Are you excited for this World Cup? Do you have a favorite?

Good luck to Germany although they have a lot of injuries - they are a class team though! I'm very excited - there is no Expectation for England to win the world cup for a change, most even think they'll struggle to get through the group - so no pressure; they can go out and have fun and hopefully surprise a lot of people!!!

Looking forward to this World Cup, in spite of the many injured players to will not be present, I think it's going to be a great Tournament!

Do you know those facts which happened in 1966 and happened this year, too? England has won the World Cup in that year.

I think the main problem at Germany is the coach, who doesn't let the German team play the football Germany is well known about.

Gpeter15 I never did congratulate you on Germany' triumph in 2014. They were the best team without a doubt.

Isn't it sad that Brazil, who I feel like ALWAYS wins the World Cup, got beaten so badly in their own country!
