Explore Tumblr Using TumVue

If you're not a , this exciting find probably won't get you excited.

But if you use Tumblr or were maybe curious and thinking about using this application, you might make a final decision based on a website that compiles your blog posts and displays them in a very appealing visual format. It's called TumVue .

Guess what? If that is their goal, they accomplished it!

Here's the predicament. What would be a good way to use it?

Well! Thinking … just thinking. People like layouts like that are sort of style. A quick view of posts or articles and then you click on the one you like. If you visit any Tumblr blog and want to view the posts, most people click on the archive and scan. But click on the links below and compare my blog archive view to the TumVue view . Which looks better to you?

* With the archive you can pick a month and get back to older posts quicker. Express Yourself! : Archive

* But if you're browsing, as if you're casually reading a magazine or looking at the pictures, the page will keep loading posts as you scroll down, offering you more and more to peruse. Express Yourself – View on TumVue

Thinking this is a great technological discovery. But don't quite know how to maximize its potential. Anybody got any ideas?

I haven't used Tumblr in a heck of a long time. Appreciate your post here, as it's time for me to re-explore what the site has to offer.

I have never used Tumblr. I looked at both layouts and I agree the Tumvue layout looked very interesting. On the other hand, the archive view showed a greater number of posts. You certainly have a lot of pictures and I think that that is what makes either page visually appealing. It would be nice to be able to use that Tumvue for our own posts here at PP.

Using that kind of layout at PersonaPaper would be very nice. But that's wishful thinking.

Interesting. I'll have to take a peek at that.

I've never used Tumblr. I was advised it isn't worth it. Since I have limited time, I took the advice, whether right or wrong. I may have to check it out, since it is one of the ways of promoting our articles, wherever we write.
