I Don't Watch TV, I Fight with It
I am so disgusted with watching TV that I constantly have to change channels. There is much hype, spin, and commercials on the tube these days that it is a real challenge to try to cherry pick out of the trash any valid and useful info. I find that I have to have the remote next to me at all times esp during exercising so I can change channels or mute the sound.
CNN is the worst for commercials and promos. That station absolutely insults my intelligence. I can't stand the news anchors and the CNN program music. And they expect me to pay for the trash they spoon out to viewers?
The original idea of 'Pay TV' was the customer would pay to watch channels that were commercial-free. Instead they make us pay twice. First with subscription and then with the commercials that aren't supposed to be there.

I watched a film the other week that had background music playing all the way through it. It was unnecessary and very irritating.

I like to watch a bit of US news, Fox News is the one I can't stand - it's crazy! It's like they get their teeth into a big story then cut for a quick song by Demi Levato outside or something, and that Fox Extra is totally mentalness!

Then don't watch channels like CNN or Fox which are all propaganda anyway not news. Record programs to zip through commercials or watch commercial free like HBO.

I agree about the commercials. But I hardly watch TV. I'd much rather write or read a book for entertainment.

Most of what I watch these days in on Netflix. If I have regular TV on it is to watch specials, sports, or The Big Bang Theory.
