When Things Oddly Align in Life

There are times when I am keenly aware of a shift happening inside of me--in my thinking, my feelings, and in what it is that I am to learn at a particular place in my life. It is not magic, but it seems that there are a series of events, or interactions with people, conversations and email, and any other number of moments that align, so as to grant a gift of intuition.

It never feels like a "should," but if feels like truth. It opens us up to that inner voice that is compassionate, not the judging voice that comes from ego. It will never lead us to reckless behavior, though it may lead us to make difficult, or unpopular decisions.

It has been an odd past couple of weeks, and today has been no different, receiving phone calls, and having conversations that illuminate the lessons needed, as student or teacher. I also received several personal email letters today that have done the same.

One of the notifications I received in my reading list today was an article called, How to Rewrite Your Life Story . It was written by Tris Thorp, a lead Master Educator for the Chopra Center for Wellbeing, and I believe well-worth the read. I found the example she used of the twins particularly compelling.

Though I am not sure where this is all taking me, it is evident to me that I am need to pay serious attention to the lessons being taught by all the teachers being brought into my life. Then, it is up to me to receive the gift of increased intuition without fear, as I continue to rewrite and edit my life's story.

I firmly believe that things happen in our lives for a reason and at the right time. Keep following this path.

That was an excellent article you linked to and I enjoyed reading it.

It is all about learning and personal growth not to sound trite.

None of it is new, really, but we do get lessons in different ways through life. That is what personal growth is all about.

Awesome that you are aware of the pending changes, to the "voices" and messages coming from all around you. It's only with such an awareness that we can be open to the possibilities. I hope this might lead you to increased understanding and inner serenity.

I wonder how many times in my life I've been too preoccupied or busy with life that I've allowed such awareness to pass me by. It doesn't matter now, all we manage is now.

Life is a series of challenges. The best way for us to deal with these challenges is to be flexible and if necessary reinvent ourselves. I think that is how Bill Clinton won his second term of office.

I, too, find it odd the way things come together. Almost like a plan. Now if I can just get an input into that planning!

Well, the adjustments you're needing to make are necessary, even if they're not all that fun. Whatever those changes may be, I just hope you are comfortable and at peace with yourself, once you've made them.

I am also going through times like that and its quite difficult when there is no one out there to talk to who will somehow understand.

They are out there, cheri . You simply may be looking in the wrong places.
