A Good Idea From Bubblews?

I just received an email from the Bubblews admin team that I think is actually a good idea. The heading is, "Here's some of the week's top stories from users you follow on Bubblews." What follows is a list of Bubblews posts, with their header images.

This seems like something useful to me. The presentation in the email is attractive (especially the inclusion of the images), and it looks like the posts included are those that have already received a lot of views. So, it appears that they have already been vetted to some degree, and it wouldn't be a waste of my time to take a look at them.

I found myself paging down through the list, ready to go and read anything that looked interesting to me. The upshot is that although I spend very little time on the Bubblews site these days, they might draw me in to take a look because of this email.

Is this something PersonaPaper might pursue?

There are many good ideas that have come from them.

Maybe not sending emails but perhaps a list of popular posts could be included on a weekly basis.

This was suggested by readers about a year ago. Bubblews has made changes for the better. I just do not have time to post there or even here for the amount of money that is being paid. If I get more time in the future I will post again.

We had a page for popular posts which they have discarded.

I received an email like that from Bubblews ages ago and thought it was going to be an ongoing thing. Alas I have never received another.

I read one story about that a while back and when the poster looked many of them were very old posts and that helped explain the higher view numbers.

I know that they also do this on Hubpages, so, yes, I think it would be a good thing for PP to do.

I also received this email from Bubblews and I think this is a great idea. It would enhance views and promote the site as well as bring back members. I hope elitecodex or Maelou would look into this.

"Good" and "Bubblews" on the same line. You're funny. 😂

This one just came, so maybe they are trying it again.

It's the unusual that makes news!

I think Persona Paper should be trying to fix its formatting and photo options to be more attractive on social media. Often the Persona Paper Logo is used as the featured image on Facebook instead of the photo we supplied. If we use any special characters in the title of first paragraph that shows, it looks like gibberish when we try to share it. If we want to pin any image but the first one, the description has only the photo credit (I took the photo) instead of anything about the article itself, such as the title. I think this make people less eager to share posts from here. elitecodex MaeLou

I don't know if you've read the MegL 's post and the discussion here, http://personapaper.com/article/37461-do-visitors-see-pop-ups, but I agree with your concerns/suggestions as well as those discussed in the post I've linked here.
