On Sleep, Coins Earned, and What Is in Store

In what will probably be one of the most random posts I have ever written, there will be little rhyme or reason to what I share. I feel a bit discombobulated, after a rough night of sleep. There was a periodic "beep" that reminds me of a low-battery smoke alarm, but it is not one of mine. It kept me awake most of the night.

On the Persona Paper front, it has been an incredible 24 hours. In fact, it has been only 22.5 hours, and in that time period, coins have increased by 307. I did a lot of reading yesterday, however, and I know that many of my Persona Peeps were busy visiting. (Thank you!)

Today, I will not be spending much time on the computer. I have to get to the Veterans Hospital to pick up my medications, so I have them for my injection on Monday, and I will not have a chance toward the end of the week, since I will be at a trial on Friday. I need to remember to buy a steno book so I can take notes.

I hope to also get by the hospital to visit R.N. again. I hope that he is getting stronger.

I also need to remember to use up my free Starbucks' drink coupon. I think it expires this week. I have lost too many of them in the past, because of that.

So, I am going to head off for the day. This is my 7th post since yesterday, so I feel that I have put in some effort.

Have a great Tuesday, wherever you are in the world!

I read that too fast and thought you were ON trial on Friday!

CoralLevang wrote on August 25, 2015, 12:24 PM

Well, if I can't keep my mouth shut at my daughter's divorce trial, I might be! emoticon :winking:

Looks like you've got all kinds of stuff to do today. I hope RN is doing better. I am about to order lunch and then work on my book, maybe I'll catch you tonight. Enjoy your coffee!

I'm heading out now. I just wanted to wait long enough for my 9:30 check on coins.
24 Hours...322 coins since yesterday. That's nearly 100 more in 24 hours than I did in the previous 48 hours combined. Crazy.

Wow! Good for you. Now thst ive decided I want to cash out by October im taking a page out of your book and pushing harder here for higher goals. Have fun.

I've been keeping RN in my thoughts and prayers. I hope his spirits are good and his body is healing. Enjoy yourself while you're out and about today. While buying the steno book, do you think it advisable to also pick up some duct tape -- you know, just in case you're tempted to speak your mind in court? : )

ROFLMAO I said the same thing when I was on the phone with my sister last night. emoticon :winking: You DO know me well, Feisty56 !

Early Wednesday morning here in Australia, two hours earlier than it is if I was back home. My thoughts are turning to huge hotel breakfasts.

Looks like you will be very busy today. You had amazing earnings yesterday. Congratulations

At the rate you are collecting coins you will soon go right past me and be getting your next redemption before I get my first. I hope things go in your daughter's favor at the trial.

All right, things are looking up! 300 coins in a day is quite impressive. I probably haven't made that much since back in the day when everybody was on the site, over a year ago.

Hotel breakfasts, when they can be had, are a wonderful thing! I hope you are enjoying your Aus visit.

CoralLevang wrote on August 26, 2015, 1:29 AM

Thank you! My day was different than my plan, but it was great. Will catch up before heading to bed.

CoralLevang wrote on August 26, 2015, 1:29 AM

I dunno about that, DWDavisRSL ... you are clipping right along!

It was crazy, after a nearly nothing weekend, relatively speaking. Thanks for your support.

307 coins in less than 24 hours is outstanding! And I thought I was doing well in getting 120 in one day. How do you find time to do other things when you posting, reading, and interacting a lot?

CoralLevang wrote on August 26, 2015, 10:27 AM

I seem to have gotten the notifications down to a near science/process for me. I keep the new posts for last, after reading the comments left and responding.

Of the new posts, I've learned which to read first (easiest) because of the style of the writer. Many use this simply as a day-to-day blog, so I can read those easier and catch up with everyone for their days. I take care of those first. Then I may write one post, and take a break. The articles, which are not blogs/journals, take more time, so I start with those with content that doesn't generally appeal to me, and skim through, find something interesting and comment. I have learned a lot about topics that I would never have read by doing that. I save the ones I am a drawn to exceptionally ... for a time where I have time/energy to read/mull over. In the meanwhile, I do other things.

Mind you, this has only been since I've not been working this month that I have been able to be as dedicated to several hours a day here.

CoralLevang wrote on August 26, 2015, 10:36 AM

I know from my own experience that the daily coins are all over the place. 123, 113, 322, and the last 22 hours it's been 137. I should figure out how to do an excel spread sheet and graph this. But I also know it would have to be a full time job and there be more writers here for me to maintain levels of a daily average of 300-450 for a payout every 4-6 weeks. With my current notifications with those whom I follow and interact, I can only keep up with those who actually write, or delve into the past ... And many aren't writing anymore. So, I want to see more activity generated so it comes more quickly to us all. That's been my goal for lighting the fire under my butt.

I made the mistake of starting another book during my downtime today, and now I'd rather read it than read or write posts and blogs. I should be writing reviews of these books I'm reading, but I like reading books better than writing about them.

CoralLevang wrote on August 27, 2015, 2:13 AM

It sounds like you are enjoying what you are doing. emoticon  I say, "Go with it!"

Paulie wrote on August 27, 2015, 3:56 AM

I really appreciate your insight into how you most effectively handle all of your notifications. I guess I also forgot that you had extra time this month to devote to PP. Keep up the great work and I'm sure that in time your tips will rub off onto me.

I'm just a regular ol' gal, who has too much time on her hands, and who gets obsessive when it comes to goals/numbers and feels like a failure if I don't do the all-or-nothing routine....until I over-extend and then shut down. LOL But thank you.
