Persona Paper vs MyLot

So I followed 's advice and joined MyLot. I spent few days there, published few discussions and interacted with others. So here is what I think: 1. Earnings: Well earnings are almost as slow as here, but only shady and unclear. Although you can earn more at MyLot per post, I still prefer the system here which explicitly defines your earnings per view or comment. So that's a plus for Persona; 2. Rules: Both sites are straight forward with regular rules, except that I find MyLot less strict. For example you don't need to write in fluent English or you don't need a minimum word count. I am not sure if this is for the benefit of the site or not. So not sure in who's favor is that point; 3: Community: Although community in MyLot looks bigger, my discussions received almost as many views as my average post here would. But I'm sure it works better for veteran users with many followers. So a plus for MyLot; 4. Interface: The interface in MyLot looks better. To sum it up, both sites are good and if you can't decide where to write, then how about on both platforms? For me Persona feels more"home" so I will come here for bigger posts. I will leave the chit chat for MyLot.

I found it slowed down after the first few days and to be honest I really hope someone discusses something worthwhile there soon. I stand by that real good articles are best placed here.

I thought it's just me. Well one of the admins did mention something about adopting the earning system according to site's income. I hope its not final.

MyLot was the first site from which I made some online money, so I was extremely happy to see its earning program restored after a two year hiatus. There is room for both sites in my life: when I want to write a new article I will use PersonaPaper and when I want to discuss with other people on various topics myLot will be my main choice.

I checked it out but have not written anything there yet. May have to try doing so.

You can only use one link or one image on myLot whereas at PersonaPaper, the posting is geared more towards a blogging style or format. Also, myLot is a discussion forum. If you post at myLot yo have to suggest your content for reading. If you post at PersonaPaper, your followers know. On the home at this site you can quickly scan new posts. Not so easy at myLot. $10 cashout for myLot and $20 cash out for PersonaPaper. myLot has a higher Alexa ranking than PersonaPaper. The two sites have different agendas or aims. They don't compete with each other. I'm active on both sites.

Now I have to eat some of my words. Was just at the myLot site today and noticed that on the sidebar there are additional recommended posts for you to enjoy your meandering.

myLot is getting better and better. The Admin person receives comments and suggestions and works regularly on making the site better.

I agree with your point of view on these two.
