Bangkok bomb
There are reports of a huge bomb having gone off in Bangkok in Thailand. The blast was caught on camera. Apparently the bomb was on a motorbike parked in a central area of Bangkok that is popular with tourists. I am so sorry to hear of this. Having lived somewhere that bomb explosions were frequent, I know how terrifying this can be and I hope that no one we know or that any of you know has been caught up in this. We may get more of an update on this from paulie ? I hope that no one he knows is affected by this. The current situation shows 12 people dead and obviously many more will have been injured. The blast looked horrific.
Update
There have now been 19 confirmed deaths, although this may go higher. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-33963280

Another explosion report? If these explosions keep “randomly” occurring around the world, my conspiracy theory button is gonna switch on!

So many tragedies in so many places...it is disheartening and sickening. i do hope Paulie and everyone he cares for was not affected by this incident, but in the end, someone's family has been. There are just not enough words for me to express the magnitude of my sorrow for those affected, not just in this incident, but the ones that happen the world over day in and day out.

I was driving and had the radio on when I heard a report. Immediately thought of Paulie and hope that he's okay. Has he been around yet today?

Thanks for sharing this. The pipe bomb explosion happened at 7:00 pm local Thailand time on Monday. My wife was hysterical when she heard about it because she had been trying to call our daughter in Bangkok who wasn't answering her phone. Finally at around 8:00 Pannee called back saying that she was safe and not in the vicinity of the bomb, I will have an article on this bombing later today.

Thanks for your concern, I was up in Udonthani about 300 miles away when the blast occurred. Our youngest daughter was in Bangkok, but thank God she was nowhere near the location of the bombing. I will post something later.

Here's the thing: it's Satan's world. He loves it. Terrorism is his favorite religion. I feel so sorry for anyone caught up in the destruction.

The scary part is that the bomb is not a huge bomb. it is small enough to fit into a backpack.
