Kettlebells are Great for Weight Loss
I have written before about how important it is to keep your exercise routine varied. One of the main reasons why people stop exercising regularly is boredom. When I first started exercising to lose weight and get fit I started by watching Billy Blanks videos on youtube. I have switched things up on multiple occasions since then. Recently, I have been doing various kettlebell exercises in my own home using online videos.
The kettlebell is a fantastic tool for weight loss. It is essentially a weighed ball with a handle that can be used in a range of different ways to not only help but weight loss but to also help with strength training.
Kettlebell exercises have been proven to burn a lot of calories. One study by the American Council on Exercise found that kettlelbell exercises could burn up to 13.6 calories per minutes. Kettlebell exercises have also been found to help relieve back pain, neck pain, strength muscles and improve movement all over the body. Just ten minutes with the kettlebell a day can improve a person's health significantly making the kettlebell a great investment.
Personally speaking, I have also found that the kettlebell is easy to hold, use and swing around my body.
Because the kettlebell can be used in so many different ways, it is great for a full-body workout and for weight loss.
