Persona Paper Payment Practically and Perfectly Painless and Prompt

Pardon me my alliterations, but, hopefully, the title piqued people's proclivities to take a peek!

Many of you are well-aware of my 15K Coin Challenge that I set for myself in June . Initially, my goal was to reach the $20 payout by my birth date of August 10th, which I accomplished by July 28th. I also set a "stretch goal" early on of reaching 15,000 coins by the same birthday, which I accomplished two days early.

It all began, when I first set smaller goals, inspired by AliCanary and valmnz .

On the afternoon of June 24th, I had only 9889 coins in my bank valued at $14.83. I wondered if I could reach the 10K coins level by the end of June, with nearly a week. It not being quite enough challenge for me, I set the push or stretch goal to reach that level in 55 hours.

That is how it started, but this article not about goal-setting. But it is about the payment process here at Persona Paper.

I need to begin by saying I chose not to redeem the moment I hit the 13,334 coins/20 dollar mark, but to do so on my birthday, 15K reached or not. I wanted to see, monitor, and report the progress for myself and others who were watching how goals could be set and reached focusing on a process, rather than a payout.

The request and payment

I sent my request for payment before noon on August 10th. I had approximately 15,130 coins in the bank when I submitted the request.

It was about 96 hours (4 days) later that I received an e-mail notification that there was activity in my PayPal account:

"Dear Coral Levang, Just thought you'd like to know Persona Paper sent you $20.00 USD."

There it was. The transaction details on my PayPal account stated:

  • Date: Aug 14, 2015
  • Time:11:20:18 PDT
  • Status: Completed
  • Subject: Persona Paper has just sent you $20.00 USD with PayPal
  • Payment type: Instant

Starting over again

Now, my Persona Paper bank reflects the payment being processed. I am back to 2236 coins valued at $3.35.

Because I chose not to redeem the moment that I accomplished my payment goal, but add a stretch goal, the bank never zeroed out. It is a "trick" I used to help myself get past the discouragement of starting over.

So, here I am. Back to 16 percent of my second run toward the next $20 earned at Persona Paper. And though I am a long way from 13,334 coins, I can rest-assured that I can make the next one easier than the first.

Not only is this possible, but that I can trust Persona Paper's team ( elitecodex and MaeLou ) to do exactly what they say they will do.

Thanks to the both of you for showing us time and again that this site is worth our time and effort, when we choose to look at the big picture.

When you submitted your request, did you specify $20 or does PP redeem only $20 and not an over number, for example, $23.35?

CoralLevang wrote on August 15, 2015, 12:52 PM

I submitted for payment, they processed $20, leaving the remaining coins/amount as the basis for the next redemption.

Kasman wrote on August 15, 2015, 1:03 PM

I never doubted that you would be paid! Now let's see how quickly you can get the next payment! emoticon

MegL wrote on August 15, 2015, 1:13 PM

It's good to know that payment is prompt and painless.

JohnRoberts wrote on August 15, 2015, 2:10 PM

Thank you. That answers a question I have wondered about.

CoralLevang wrote on August 15, 2015, 2:15 PM

I never doubted it, but it's been awhile since I have been paid by any site. I had nothing to go on, especially since there has been little communication here from our busy moderators.

CoralLevang wrote on August 15, 2015, 2:16 PM

Yes! And thank you for the other "P" word. I altered the title.

CoralLevang wrote on August 15, 2015, 2:18 PM

I'm not sure what the exact coins were when I submitted. I was going to make note, and forgot. I wanted to see if there was a difference between the 13,334 and what was still in the bank, as compared to the full total, to see if coins were disallowed, and to what extent. I'll have to do that next time.

valmnz wrote on August 15, 2015, 9:40 PM

Good to hear the news. Well done emoticon  one day, when I have more time, I'll steer myself toward payout too.

It is nice to know that your redemption came promptly and that it was done for the $20 even, leaving seed coins for your next run.

Paulie wrote on August 15, 2015, 11:29 PM

Congratulations on setting and meeting your goals! It must have been a great feeling finally seeing the results of your hard labor. I am at almost 28 percent to cash out now, but knowing you, you probably will surpass me very quickly.

Shellyann36 wrote on August 15, 2015, 11:37 PM

Congrats on the cash out. It is good to know that they pay promptly! I agree with the cashing out over the limit because it is discouraging to see that zero balance.

LoudMan wrote on August 16, 2015, 2:08 AM

I'm happy to hear they still pay. No real surprise.

cheri wrote on August 16, 2015, 2:16 AM

COngratulations! After the redemption on August 10, you are again doing great for that stat

CoralLevang wrote on August 16, 2015, 5:04 AM

I am going to set my goal shortly to reach payout .

Good to see you, valmnz . Hope you are well. Hugs.

CoralLevang wrote on August 16, 2015, 5:05 AM

It is why I do the stretch goals, so that I can push beyond, and have some leeway.

CoralLevang wrote on August 16, 2015, 5:08 AM

Thanks, Paulie. It is nice to get the reward at the end, yes. I would like to see the next one before the end of the year. I think you are doing well. As long as it is growing in the right direction!

CoralLevang wrote on August 16, 2015, 5:09 AM

Thank you, Shellyann36 . I really think that elitecodex and maeLou are great.
As far as the zero balance....I'm not sure it is discouraging, but psychologically, I like having the jump start.

CoralLevang wrote on August 16, 2015, 5:11 AM

Remember, cheri , I had the stretch goal of 15K, because I wanted that bit of extra before I cashed the $20 in. It feels good to start out with something. Thank you. emoticon

CoralLevang wrote on August 16, 2015, 5:12 AM

I really appreciate this site for their consistency, and integrity.

Paulie wrote on August 16, 2015, 5:14 AM

If i were a betting man, I would wager that you will cash out again before New Year's Eve.

agvulpes wrote on August 16, 2015, 9:16 AM

Great work and it shows a lot of hard work does pay off. Also the 'setting of goals' seems to be a way of keeping it up :)

wolfgirl569 wrote on August 16, 2015, 10:25 AM

Congrats, I love the way they are set up to deposit instantly. That is so very nice

CoralLevang wrote on August 16, 2015, 2:19 PM

Thank you. I know I need some sort of "eye on the prize," otherwise I give up.

CoralLevang wrote on August 16, 2015, 2:20 PM

I agree. This just is easy here. I applaud the moderators.

You ingeniously titled your post with each word beginning with "P".It was great PearsonaPaper paid you so fast. I am happy for you to see you achieve your goal one by one.

CoralLevang wrote on August 18, 2015, 10:28 AM

Thank you, jiangliu1949 !

AliCanary wrote on August 21, 2015, 6:27 AM

I'm not surprised that you had a satisfying result, as I did when I redeemed, and it is nice to start with those extra coins, although I didn't have quite as many--I was less patient than you about waiting to redeem, lol

CoralLevang wrote on August 21, 2015, 6:31 AM

The 15K just seems to make sense to me. I like the round number. I set my new goals, too, but I'll let you read about them, rather than tell you here. LOL

lexiconlover wrote on August 26, 2015, 9:39 PM

I must have missed this! Love reading your goal related posts.

CoralLevang wrote on August 27, 2015, 1:16 AM

lexiconlover Thanks, Ms. Lexi! I'm trying to keep up with you! I've fallen a bit behind today! emoticon :winking:

For the most part, yes. And thank you.
