By in Persona Paper

Aw, Shucks!

Just peeking in to let you know that I am still alive. (I woke up at 4 a.m. after fitful sleep.)

What a wonderful surprise to see so many birthday greetings! Thank you so much. You will never know just how much this means to me. (I will write more to comment and thank you, individually and collectively, later.)

It has been strange not to spend most of the day on the computer, working on a goal. Taking a couple of days off to "unplug" was well-needed. I have a lot of catching up to do on reading my notifications!

I did, indeed, sign in yesterday morning (as I said I would) "to begin the cash out process," as Persona Paper states. I am not sure if the send the $20, reducing the coins by 13,334 and leave the rest to start building toward the next redemption, or if they will pay me $22.50 and I go back to zero.

Other than that, I did not read, comment, or write here for two days. It was weird not to do so.

Let it be stated, however, that my brief appearance on myLot yesterday does not mean, as has suggested, that I have left here. Honestly, I like the format here at PP better, and I like the community here, which is not money-driven.

And, thank all of you again for the warm greetings, the smiles, the virtual cake with the arsonist's dream on top, balloons, and the party I missed here on PP. You guys are the best and I love you all.

Last, but not least, I want to wish &AbbyG and Paulie a very happy birthday today. May your birthday celebrations be filled with lots of joy and love! Hugs to you both!

Glad you had a good rest, even if the sleep time was not great.

I got the 20 even and the change stayed. That meant I was not fully at zero. Glad you had a good birthday

Isn't it interesting how 'valuable' a 'gift' a little time off becomes as we get older. In many ways, it becomes more coveted than "the good stuff" we put on our lists for Birthdays and Christmas when we were younger. Of course, if you can throw a McDonald's Happy Meal for two into the mix by way of a redemption, that's just icing on the Birthday cake. emoticon

You were missed, as you can tell from the comments and posts in your honor. Certainly glad you took a couple of days to refresh the batteries, so to speak, and enjoy your birthday in your own way. Onward and upward together, I say. : )

Happy belated birthday. Sorry that I missed the actual B-Day, but I was preoccupied with chores and weighty matters here.

morilla So very true! If you were to read my blog entry today (linked in my last post here), it was a wonderful day, though I spent it with no one. emoticon :winking:

Feisty56 Yes, I can see that. It was heartwarming, and nearly overwhelming at the same time. Definitely felt the love!

alexdg1 Thank you for the birthday wishes! The way I see it, the whole month is my birthday, and we can celebrate Life any day of the year! emoticon :winking:

They gave me the $20 and the coins above that (164, I think) remained in the bank, giving me a teeny bit of a head start. I liked it that way--there's nothing more freaky-outy than an empty bank!

You were missed. We were getting up a cyber-search party to go out and find you. Glad you got a couple days of unplugged relaxation. emoticon

*reversing the A and the O* It was a pleasure, &Pauilie .
My day was rather quiet as I shared in post here and on the blog.
