Finishing My 15K
At this point, reading one more article about my 15K is likely the last thing that anyone wants to read. If I may be so bold to say, it is the last thing I want to write.
I am truly exhausted and, if you were to ask me to do it again, I would give you the "evil eye," likely accompanied with a few equally as evil incantations.
At 2:12 p.m. PDT on August 8, 2015, I saw the number in my bank.
Coins 15000 Currently Worth $22.50
Not only did I meet my payout goal, but I have met the "stretch goal," coming across this finish line 57 hours 47 minutes earlier than the 23:59 August 10th goal I set in June.
I am not going to redeem until my birthday, but I will not have to wait until nearly midnight to do so. I think I am going to wake up on Monday, and that will be one of the first things I do.
As with any goal, though we may be running the race, we are not alone. I want to thank each and every one of you for your support of me through reading, supporting me with your comments and encouragement. I have truly found a community here, and appreciate all that you do.
And now, three hours after I said I was going to take a breather , I am truly on my way out to do something other than run this 15K.
