Beautiful Butterflies

I love to see butterflies, yet once in a while figure out how to get a photograph of one, they are so brisk , rippling from blossom to bloom. I just got one by chance, I was perched on a fallen tree, in the park, viewing the deer feeding, when I saw the butterfly arrive , just to one side. So I grabbed my camera and zoomed in on its position, while remaining sat down.... numerous years back there was a programme on British TV, called butterflies, and the signature melody was sung by wendy craig, and it was called, love is like a butterfly. I truly like the verses to this tune, they are 'sweet', yet astutely compared to the butterfly.

What a lovely photograph! I am saddened by the fact we don't see butterflies like we used to when I was a child. I don't think I have seen but one in this whole summer.

We visited a zoo here before and there was a place there where there were many beautiful butterflies.

Oh I love butterflies, and snapping photos of them - always have. Nowadays they remind me of my late Father, as we saw several right after he had passed away.
