It's Nap time!

My youngest child doesn't generally like to sleep in the afternoon. How would you get a little one that is willful to take their rest. Here are a couple tips that I do to try get her to have an afternoon sleep. 1. I attempt to tire her by giving her a chance to play 2. give her a chance to watch a few kid's shows while she lies down 3. give her a chance to chose when she feels she is ready to sleep 4. disregard the snooze and permit her to enjoy a reprieve from rests for a day then after day shes all prepared 5. Bribe her that has a tendency to help with anything, for example a treat later, her favourite sweet or play a game that she loves afterwards.

My youngest was very stubborn about nap time. I would lay on him pinning him down and he was out fast. As long as he could move he was not going to sleep

when my daughter (nearly 40yo) was a little girl, she would tell me when she was tired and wanted to sleep. I found her odd. LOL Never did she fight going to bed.

I remember on occasions both my boys would be eating in their high chair and then fall asleep in their high chairs.

My little boy hates nap and sometimes it makes me difficult to take him to get one
