Bubblews Account Flagged as SPAM

Sharing this post here as a follow up to two of my previous posts (see links below) because don't want to mislead readers. If something was correct and accurate at one time but then an unforeseen event occurred and the information is no longer current then the readers should be advised accordingly. C'est bon, n'est-ce pas?

So as of today, my Bubblews account does not exist. Am I okay with that? YES! Just a tad bit upset with myself because backup copies for some of my writings were not maintained. Gnarly!

Other than that, this is not like it was years ago when my and was getting started. These days there are so many and sites to choose from. Why get upset if your work isn't accepted? Just go elsewhere!

Aww, sad that you did not save copies for those articles you contributed there.
True enough, a new door opens

I haven't been on-site at B-ooze for quite some time. My account may well be closed, too. It matters not to me.

jiangliu1949 wrote on August 4, 2015, 7:20 AM

I haven't removed my Bubblews account ,but it exists in name only ,due to the problem with logging in there.Happily I have made a back up of each of my posts, though I didn't post as many as others in any sites .

It's not bad. It's not sad. Wasn't wholly invested in the site. With the makeover they claim to have installed a “spam detector” because in the past the site was accused of allowing rampant spam. So! Either the artificial intelligence spam zapper detected my work and flagged it as spam OR a human is playing really close attention to what I do there and seized a moment to POUNCE! 'Be gone you pest! Moo-ah hah hah!!' Can't be the latter, i.e. intentional and deliberate human intervention, because that would just be ridiculous! :)

Well what had really happened was ... people were complaining about their bank being frozen but my bank was slowly but surely gathering pennies. So I thought to myself 'Looks like my bank is moving. Whatever I'm doing might as well keep doing it!' The logic seemed flawless. :)

cmoneyspinner wrote on August 4, 2015, 10:11 AM

Many people have the same feeling as you. But some want to hear about the experiences of others at the site.

cmoneyspinner wrote on August 4, 2015, 10:15 AM

LOL. I never make the decision to delete my account. Accounts. Plural. Each time an account was set up I have been "removed from the building".

cmoneyspinner wrote on August 4, 2015, 11:20 AM

Ditto. Frankly &AbbyG - that's what intrigues me about this site. Speaking of “rules”, it didn't seem to follow any of them and it's still there! Take spam, for example. The entire site survived and ranked high with search engines despite all the complaints about their site being loaded with spam. Where were the SEO police?? Yet. My account was deleted as spam. Go figure. It is a “peculiar curiosity”. How do they do it? It's a wonder!

WordChazer wrote on August 4, 2015, 12:52 PM

Mine's still alive but you have reminded me that I need to delete my reviews from there pdq so I can actually publish them somewhere else where I know they will be read, ie my blog.

Sorry to hear yours is gone, thanks for the reminder.

I have an account and since on once in a while, less and less frequently, just to check up on friends. I haven't posted there since February and can't imagine that I will ever again.

SebastianOnciu wrote on August 4, 2015, 1:53 PM

I was very upset when Bubblews stopped paying last year and I deleted about 100 articles there, but eventually I decided to keep my account open. I don't know when and if I will post there again, but just like you said, there are plenty of sites to choose from and I'm sure others will follow. Bubblews is no longer the center of my online universe and I guess it will never regain that position.

RonElFran wrote on August 4, 2015, 4:34 PM

I've kept my account open, but I'm not investing much time there. I'll write a post every once in a while to avoid being dropped for inactivity, since the bank is advancing by pennies now.

I haven't logged in bubble ooze for a long time. Too bad about losing copies of your posts. I'm surprised the b site is still up after all this time and people still write there and expect to be paid after being stiffed by bubble ooze time and time again.

debolinac wrote on August 5, 2015, 9:15 AM

That site should have gone into a black hole by now. Dont have any idea how it is still up and running.

cmoneyspinner wrote on August 5, 2015, 10:37 AM

I'm not sorry. I'm not even frustrated. I think I put a lot on my “To Do” plate. The Lord up above decided for me since I couldn't figure out which work-at-home project to give up. He guides my steps. :)

RE: What you said - If you have content and planned on moving it, you better do it. Not trying to steer people away from the site. But if you have something in your mind to do and you don't … then something happens and you can't … then you're annoyed or angry with yourself for … forever!

cmoneyspinner wrote on August 5, 2015, 10:40 AM

Can't say that I haven't heard others say the same thing. The last reports by one of the Bubblews Team did make the site's future sound promising. Don't know what will happen with them. Do know I won't be in their future with them.

cmoneyspinner wrote on August 5, 2015, 10:46 AM

Yes. Recent research indicated their Alexa ranking had dropped significantly from their former glory days. Compared to my websites and blogs though, that site still leaves digital tracks that show them way ahead of my digital paw prints. Of course, I don't have investors willing to fund my efforts and a team of workers to put out my stuff and keep things going. So I guess I do OK for a lil pup amongst the big dawgs! :)

cmoneyspinner wrote on August 5, 2015, 10:53 AM

Lots of people have accounts and drop in every now and then. You're right. My bank was adding pennies too. But I assume those pennies went back to the owners when my account was deleted. That's happened to me before. Pennies were accumulating in my RedGage account. Then one day it flat-lined. The account is still there but can't sign in and there's no activity. And my RedGage show up in Google search results. That's another weird site. (???)

cmoneyspinner wrote on August 5, 2015, 10:58 AM

Don't you get annoyed by sites that won't remove your account? It's like … Am I not free to leave? We weren't in a marriage relationship. Why you got to be holding on to me? Feels like you're stuck in a Motown song: “You just keep me hangin' on!” emoticon
As far as recovering my stuff, glad there's such a thing as "cached pages". Got most of my writings back. Shouting "Hallelujah!" for the Lord opening that window!! :)

cmoneyspinner wrote on August 5, 2015, 11:07 AM

“Bubble ooze” sounds like YUK! Hear people using that expression these days. Somehow it doesn't come across to me as a compliment.

Most of my stuff was recovered from the Google cache. Because of the timing, i.e. the Google bot had crawled the site about a week earlier and made snapshots of the webpages at the time. It's possible that if that had not happened, my efforts would have come to naught.

The B site is still up because some pretty cool changes were made to the publishing platform, and the owners are making promises for even better things to come. The ones who don't believe and won't stay simply have no faith in repentant souls who aim to make reparations. :)

cmoneyspinner wrote on August 5, 2015, 11:08 AM

Agree. This is indeed a great mystery.

WordChazer wrote on August 5, 2015, 2:56 PM

Yes sis. I now have all the titles of the posts saved, thanks to the new thing where the whole of someone's back catalog is listed. I'd lost track of a year's worth of posts that weren't reviews, as I couldn't remember the titles. For some reason I rarely save posts written for revshare sites. My bad habit needs breaking. Maybe something like the site going under before I can save everything will do that? Not that I'm wishing it to or anything...!

cmoneyspinner wrote on August 5, 2015, 3:13 PM

My son was surprised to find out I didn't keep backup copies. He thought it was a terrible work habit. It is and I should but like you, I often don't. But lately I've gotten better at doing it.

WordChazer wrote on August 5, 2015, 4:07 PM

Every other site I write for, I keep copies. But only reviews, not general blog posts usually. Strange, isn't it? Guess the blog posts can be and go and the only thing that is really important is the reviews.

BarbRad wrote on August 6, 2015, 12:05 AM

I'm confused. What kind of reviews do they not allow? Why did thy consider your account spam? Is it reviews that got your account closed or that they thought you had spam?

CoralLevang wrote on August 6, 2015, 4:21 AM

*shakes head* So, your account was deleted for saying things that were deemed as being in opposition to what they want to portray? Or maybe I am not getting something.

cmoneyspinner wrote on August 6, 2015, 11:21 AM

Uummm? Ladies. I have no idea! (O.o) Saw a rust-colored rectangle pop up, right after the green rectangle that pops up which says “Signed in successfully”. The box flashed quick enough for me to catch the words “Warning” and “SPAM” and just like that … poof! My account vanished. It was magical. (Yawn.) Was too tired to ask WHY. For real. :)

I stay active on the B because I have many friends still there I want to stay in touch with.
