The Beautiful City of Prague

This summer we also visited some of Europe's most beautiful cities, and Prague was on the top of our list. We spent four days there, while we not only walked around the town, but learned about it as well.

We have rented an apartment a few minutes walking distance from the very center of the city. Each day, we walked to different sites.

We have walked through Charles Bridge numerous times, while we learned about some of its history, we visited the St Vitus Cathedral, the most famous and the oldest one in the city, we walked through Wenceslaw Square, or strolled up Petrin Hill when we wanted some piece and quiet in the middle of the busy city. More often than not though we ended up in the old Town Square, at least at some point in the day for some entertainment.

Cars are not allowed in the streets of Old Town Square, so it is a great opportunity for all kind of street artists to put on a show. The most visually pleasing experience was going up in the Old Town Hall Tower, on top of which you can enjoy the view of Prague from every direction.

The accompanying photo was taken from there.

I visited Prague 16 years ago. It is an interesting place to explore. I visited some of the famous sights while I was there, and I had a great time. I would love to visit Prague again

I agree it is a great place to visit, I'm sure it was just as wonderful 16 years ago. Thank you for your comment.
