Only 250 Coins to Go
With only 250 coins to go, it is quite feasible that I could reach the 13,334 coins needed to my first pay out by tomorrow, though Sunday is more likely. That will be 15 days ahead of the first goal I set for payout by my 60th birthday.
This past week, I have earned fewer than 50 coins in several 24-hour periods, because I have not had the time and energy to devote to my writing or my Persona Paper goals, which I set for my birthday. Yet, I am still in the running for reaching the stretch goal of 15K coins by 11:59 p.m. on August 10th.
I do not have the energy today to spend eight hours going through every notification I have missed in three days. I have gone through a few, but I need to find a bit more balance today.
If, however, I should get a boost of energy, I would set a goal to make those 250 coins in 24 hours. Talk about a stretch! I think I have achieved about 130 coins in one day.
I wonder...will I be able to reach 13,300 coins in 24 hours? Only time will tell.

When I look and see only 12 coins difference in 4 1/2 hours, I am not sure I would call that "drive." But I accept the vote of confidence.

&AbbyG I understand. I get discouraged sometimes. The interaction is important to me, and when I find myself doing something and others don't want to, like I used to find with my sales team, I used to get resentful and discouraged. There was a goal, there was a team prize, and of 25 people, maybe 3 or 4 others would really work for the goal. One year, 1992, my team sold $276K worth of product. I sold nearly $200K of it by myself. I don't mind working hard, and I will lead the pack, but that was testament to me that those are my wants. Learning how to work that into my everyday life has been challenging, because I am such a collaborative person.

One thing I have figured out for me is that when I am depressed, I need to set some sort of plan in action to divert my attention to an action, instead of thinking about something that brings me to my inside darkness. So, I start by saying, "I wonder if I can earn 'x' in one 24-hour period." Then, looking at my time, ask myself how, and put something into action. That's all. Nothing huge, just consistent. If my number was 100, and I come up with only 35, then I set 50 for day 2, so I have to reach, but not fail 2 days in a row. If I hit 50 sooner than I thought I would do for the day, and have the time, I'll push it ahead a bit. Etc.

Well, I'm a half hour from the 13,300 goal, and wondering and currently at 13,182. So, didn't make that, but I'm closer than I was when I wrote the last time. And I did get rest/sleep last night.

From 130 coins in a day to 250 is a pretty big stretch! And you do depend on other users to earn those coins. I'd love to hear that you did it, though!
