24 Hours of Happy

Going down the list of notifications, allen0187 's recent post captured my eye. He looped Pharrell Williams' song, "Happy" to listen dozens of times.

I have 24 Hours of Happy bookmarked on my computer. I will often have that open as a tab on my computer when I am working. I wish that I could get through watching all of the people that have been featured on that video. There are some that make me smile bigger than what the song makes me do. I hope to see all of them someday.

In fewer than two years since it was released in November 2013, Williams' song has hit the top spot on music charts in 24 countries. It is an incredible feat to do, which I am sure that has made him quite happy.

"Weird Al" Yankovic has also cashed in with his "Tacky" parody. I think I love Margaret Cho and Jack Black in the video. The parodied lyrics are hilarious, and make fun of what so many of us could be accused.

Aren't you HAPPY that I shared those two links with you?

Happy is a great song. I love that song. It sort of reminds me of Michael Jackson a little. And it has that 70's sound. Maybe that's why I like to so much.

inertia4 The first time I ever heard it was watching tv, which I rarely watch, and flipping through the channels. I came across Oprah interviewing Pharrell. I loved the song.

&AbbyG I lost the music in me for many years. I've now just started again, and do a bit here on the computer until I can find my collection (in boxes) and my cd changer.

I don't remember the first time I heard it, but I liked it right away. It just has that right sound and beat.

Music will change my mood in many directions. This is what I need when I am falling into a hole.

I love music. It always works for me. No matter what mood I am in. It helps out and soothes the mind. Then I am fine again.
