Didn't brush my hair for 3 days!

Forgot

When I went away for the weekend, I forgot my hairbrush. I don't carry deodorant or toothpaste with me because the security regulations, so I just buy some in the airport after passing security or else at my destination. But I forgot to buy a comb or brush.

Short Hair

My hair is short and cut in a casual windswept style. As I don't have it permed and don't use hairspray, it looks windswept most of the time anyway. So I decided to just run my fingers through it. No one commented. If my mother had seen me she would have said I looked like I had been dragged through a hedge backwards! But nowadays, it was either an acceptable style or everyone was too polite to comment.

Hair is a woman's crowning glory. But these days crowns have different designs and that includes wind blown hair emoticon

If your hair is quite short, I don't think it is really that necessary to comb it every day.

When I read the title of this post, my first thought was, "Oh no, MegL has been sick!" Upon reading it, I was relieved that not brushing your hair for three days was the result of not having a brush, rather than not having the stamina to brush. I imagine fingers through short hair that isn't a fussy style should have done the trick just fine.

I always wear my hair in a clip. Wind swept is not bad.

Yes, I left it behind with my cousin to use or dispose of.

MegL I, too, have forgotten a brush. In fact, it was for an out of town workshop. I did not get a chance to go buy another, or hairspray, until after the first day of the workshop.
I have always had short hair, and it is thin and fine, so I have never liked it.

That sounds like my standard hair care regime to start with! Mine is lucky if it gets combed when I come out of the shower.

Ha! I could never get away with it--I have long hair that tangles, and I must brush it several times a day, or it would look like, as my mother was wont to say, "A rat's nest!"

Oh I haven't experienced it. Maybe just for one day. Haha!
