Weird Weather

I can´t believe how grey it is outside for July ! It almost looks like it's getting foggy. What a change from yesterdays blazing sunshine and azure sky´s.

No rain is forecast and it's still very warm, but this is just weird.

Never mind, its slightly more comfortable heat wise, and my plan today is to do some cleaning, inside and outside. I already tackled the shed, not my favourite place to tidy, next on the agenda is the caravan where I live year round so I can earn income from renting my villa out. I intend to do everything at a leisurely pace and have some swim time between one chore and the next.

If anyone´s looking for a great last minute deal on a holiday in the mountains of Valencia, Spain, I´m your girl to contact.

Thanks to the Palava when I accepted an offer to buy my villa which fell through after months of stress, I´m now in the position where I´m having to drastically reduce my weekly charges to try and get bookings, as I missed the spring frenzy when most folk book their yearly holidays. Oh, and don´t let todays grey skies put you off, tomorrow we will be back to blazing sunshine for sure.

The picture below is more the norm for this time of year..Honest emoticon

Thie weird weather scenario has been talked about by most here for days on end. We have to bow to this change of scene.

This looks so lovely, Anne. I wish I could help you out by being rich enough to afford to rent the villa. First, I would have to buy my tickets. If I can do that, I will be have only enough to rent the chaise there, next to the pool. emoticon :winking: Actually, though it would be nice to visit Spain, how about when you sell that villa, I come visit in UK? I'll tolerate the weather better. It will be like here in Seattle, as it was the last time I was there!

Wow, that is the classic getaway to Spain villa. A pool with a view.

I do not really care what the weather is like in Spain because it is around 34C here in Turkey (Snigger Snigger).

My wife and I would love to come and spend a week at your villa. Sadly, our vacation time for this year is all planned out and booked. I hope you have better luck selling your place than this last time.

I am trying to make the most of it because I cannot afford many holidays now that I am on a pension. This is only my 6th this year and we are already in July.

Thanks to an interesting article by meteorologist Jon Plotkin, I expect to see more clouds and less sky... A very gradual increase in cloud cover may result from global warming.

Hollyhocks100 wrote on July 17, 2015, 3:19 AM

That is interesting. This summer we have had a lot of dirty looking sky, and far less azure blue one´s than is usual here.
