Stack and stack of money

Sometimes I wonder what it is like to work in a mint that prints all the money and coins.

I wonder how those workers resist the temptation to take a large stack of money home.

It must be marvelous to see stack and stack of freshly printed notes, and to see stack and stack of coins.

When I look at the images of stack of money, especially the shiny gold coins, I feel so happy and excited.

I cannot imagine looking at all the money every working day, and feel nothing.

Perhaps I should find a job in the mint. I think the sight of so much money is enough to motivate me to invest wisely and get richer.

I think this sounds stressful. More to life for me than stacks of money.

One gets used to everything in life and if you think those workers at the mint show no interest that is understandable.

If you like money, investing wisely to get richer is a good idea. Especially if you can get everything you want with your money.

This is really tempting especially if you are in dire need.

I'l definitely sign up for this job but I doubt if I'll stay for a long time. Seeing lots of money that actually don't belong to me can be downright sad. However, if it is mine for the taking, then I'm the happiest person in the world!

I watched a comedy movie once where people working at the mint planned a robbery of all of the old bills they were going to destroy. I can't for the life of me remember the name of the movie or any of the actors...

Sounds like you are a visual sort of person. Maybe you could do it part-time for kicks haha

Don't imagine for a moment it would be easy to abscond with the money. By the way, one of my ancestors was in charge of the Philadelphia Mint in the 1800s. George Killinger Childs.

That's a really good question. I wonder if it's a job requirement to have that self-control, or if they have extra security or cameras around to make sure nobody steals anything.

I think after some time the novelty wears off and you get used to it.
