Planning to See a Dermatologist

It has been more than three months since my last surgery. I have a cut in the right eyebrow that left scar. My neuro told me that I can apply or use ointment already since the wound started healing. He recommended something but instead I bought other ointment I thought better.
I am quite worried or may be I am just too impatient waiting for the ointment to take effect when in fact its not a month yet that I started using it. So to stop my worry, I am planning to see a dermatologist today to ask for her opinion regarding this scar treatment.
As much as possible I do not want to go treatment anymore if there are medicines like ointments that can help me remove the scar.

Is the scar on the eyebrow very big and noticeable? If it is small and not that noticeable, I would go with the cream first and give it a chance to work.

Sometimes scars are more visible to us than they are to others. Why did you not use the ointment your neuro suggested? Was there any particular reason?

Look at the positive side. You will make better first impression with a eyebrow scar.

I hope the dermatologist is able to give you good news about treatments.

I am not sure that is why I want to see a dermatologist for at least she can tell me if it only needs cream application

I don't know but I just do not trust the man. Hubby even joked me that the name of the ointment he suggested sounded like an ointment used to cure other skin disease.

Oh I hope I can just do that but may be later on I will get used to it. Its a battle scar anyway. : )

There are a lot of scar cream available in the drugstore but I want to ask the dermatologist for a good suggestion.
