Happy July 4th to our Persona Paper friends!

Mildred the Cat and I just want to wish all our Persona Paper friends out there who celebrate July 4th, also known as Independence Day here in the US of A, a fabulous day and a fabulous weekend.

My daughter and I are heading down to Fairfield County to spend the day with our family. I plan on eating a lot, talking a lot, laughing a lot and having a really great time. Although the drive is a fairly long one and the highway traffic will most likely be quite a challenge, it is definitely worth the time and effort to get to that picnic!

Not only are we celebrating the 4th today, but it is also the hosts' son's birthday. We have a lot to celebrate.

Mildred the Cat will be spending the day at home where she is most comfortable, safe and sound and has my bed to hide under if there are any neighborhood fireworks. She will celebrate the day with several naps and some chicken treats.

Have a good one, everybody.

Actually, Mildred's version of a celebration is more up my street. Tell her I'll be over shortly!

Happy 4th to you and sweet, purty Mildred from me, Guiness the Cat. Tell her not to worry about the fireworks. It's just silly humans making racket. I don't know why. Save me some hamburgers. The human is tired of them (occupational hazard) and has declared that she is eating shrimp, but yet won't share. Can I come hang out with Mildred and Kasman ?

I like Mildreds way of celebrating. I have a cold beer and am at home

Sounds like you have a great day planned. We are watching the fireworks on tv tonight with the Macy's Day 4th Celebration.

Hi Guiness. Great to hear from you. I just got home from my picnic and am responding to you per Mildred's request. She is still hidden under my bed and won't come out as the neighbors are shooting off firecrackers. She says she'd love to share a burger or two with you.

I just got home from my picnic. I told Mildred to expect you. She is hiding under my bed as the neighbors are shooting off firecrackers. She asked that I let you know she's not coming out but you're welcome to come over.

Happy Fourth of July! you are so fortunate to be living in the States now and able to celebrate this great holiday. No one celebrates it in northeastern Thailand where I live now.

We had a quiet day at home this past July 4th. Now, it is almost Christmas. I hope you have a good Christmas and come back and write more here.
