Will You Be Watching Angel From Hell?

I'm not a huge fan of the comedy genre. To be honest, I find most comedies appeal to the lowest common denominator – and that just bores me. So it's really rare for me to find a TV comedy that I think will hold my attention. But I think that maybe this fall there will be one!

Award winning actress Jane Lynch ( Glee, is set to play an irreverent guardian angel who has no filter and who shoots from the hip. Her charge is Allison Fuller (Maggie Lawson, ) a young dermatologist who thinks Lynch's character is nuts until angel Amy starts revealing some very intimate details about the good doctor's life.

The five-minute trailer had me chuckling, almost from the first seconds. It was enough for me to decide this new comedy series will be on my must watch list for the fall 2015 TV season!

More About the Angel From Hell

Jane Lynch will be CBS's Angel From Hell this fall, and also gets a co-executive producer credit. The series is a single-camera fantasy sitcom that will air in 30-minute episodes, starting November 5th. The series creator and writer is Tad Quill, who also brought you Spin City and Scrubs . The director of the show is Don Scardino ( 2 Broke Girls .)

Not a big comedy fan, either, at least not of more recent ones. I'll still watch old Night Court and All in the Family reruns if I catch them!

Ruby3881 I'd love to see this! All the talents involved are compelling!

I seen a commercial for this and it does look like it will be good

I'll definitely check it out since I've always enjoyed her in almost any part.

Didn't watch either of the other two this fellow created so I doubt I would this one. I have seen her on some talk shows and I like her just haven't found anything I like to watch that she is in.

I saw the commercial for this show today and so far I am not impressed. I do like Jane Lynch but I just don't think I will be into this show. I will at least watch the show once to see if my train of thought is wrong though.

Now you're really dating yourself! Those were two fun shows; I can quite understand your preference emoticon

In Canada, the series will be aired on Global. I'm not sure yet if the air dates will be the same as in the US, but you should be able to access it emoticon

I think I can understand your hesitance. I didn't really relate at all to the other characters, and I'm not yet sure where the plot will go. If the character development and the plot are good, I'll stick with it. And if it had been a movie I'd probably watch it all the way through, regardless. But I'm hoping that Lynch won't have to carry the whole show...

From the preview it seems that Lynch's role is the dominate role in the show. I am not sure what to think of the character that she is "watching over".

You know, the show will not be aired here at the same time as in U .S.But when it comes here,I may try to watch it because of Jane Lynch.

I don't usually spare time for comedies, either, although I love smart, quirky comedies like Community and The Big Bang Theory. Jane Lynch was terrific in Glee, and she is really very funny--I might check it out.
