My 400th Article - from the Library, of Course!
Here I am again, in my "second office", the library, and I am celbrating my 400th article here on Persona Paper. I have written about things from the price of oil to the flowers in my yard, from DumbStuff I have observed to stupid things in movies and TV (all right; not a stretch), and from EasyFood for people who hate to cook to poetry and short fiction. And oh, the challenges! The 30DaySongChallenge and the CaptchaChallenge are my favorites. I keep telling you that I will be doing another 30 day song challenge, and I promise to make good on my threat very soon. That will give CoralLevang some fodder for her productivity cannon!
I already did a retrospective-type post just recently, for my one-year anniversary here, so I won't stroll any further down memory lane. It's a very pretty sunny day here in North Carolina, USA; we had big-time rainstorms on Friday and Saturday, but yesterday and today have been very nice. It was very hot last week--near 100 degrees a few days--but the rain has cooled things down, and it's only in the 80s. That might still seem very warm, but once you've dealt with a few 97-degree days, 87 is sweet, and 83 is almost chilly!
I'm busy making plans for the Fourth of July (yeah, I realize that everyone has a fourth of July, but ours is capitalized). So many things going on! There's a boardgaming party and weenie roast in the daytime from 11am - 2pm, a Fun Fourth festival downtown that runs all day with vendors, arts and crafts, food, and free music, and then there's a free concert by the Greensboro Symphony, followed by fireworks. I have also been invited to a clambake / house party, and I'm trying to figure out how to go to ALL of these things. I might end up just flopped out on the sofa instead, heh heh. I reserve the right not to make a decision.
But if I do something interesting, I'll try to remember to tell you!
