Tree of Friendship Necklace

I began doing bead work a number of years ago. I especially love making things that require a bit of wire work, as I shared with the rosary articles. I made this necklace for a friend, Susan, for Christmas 2012. I called this piece, "The Tree of Friendship."

Photograph is author owned.

I used a wrapped loop technique for this project on 20-gauge sterling-filled wire. The beads are Chinese crystal rondelles in shades of purple, orange and teal. The pendant is pewter.

This project took me approximately eight hours to make. Each bead was looped and wrapped and put together as a chain. I used a lobster claw clasp to finish it.

This image was taken and owned by the author.

This particular necklace was made with the symmetry that I knew she would prefer.

The necklace is a lovely piece of work. I can see the time and thought you put into it.

That's really pretty. peachpurple mentions Zazzle. It's site where you can sell home crafted items. I have heard good reports of it, perhaps you should check it out -
