Owning Pets...

Once in a while every child has dreamt of owning a cute little as his/her pet. When I was little, we used to have “Pet Day” in school. This was an event which started in the morning and ended when the school bell rang to signify the end of the day.

All the children who owned pets would have their pets brought to school by their parents and these pets were then free to be fed and petted by the entire school.

There would be a wide range of pets, from rabbits, dogs and turtles to birds and fish. I think that is what harboured in me a to own a pet so I could bring it to school too.

I always wanted was a rabbit. I own a pair of .

That would be a lot of animals in a school. My pets growing up included horses and cows. That would have been fun to have there

I have always had pets of one sort or another. Mostly cats. Never took any of them to school tho, but we usually had a class pet, for the most part guinea pigs or hamsters. I remember getting to bring the guinea pigs home for a holiday weekend.

I really love animals. I have two cats and a dog but I'd like a rabbit too. They are so cute.

Did you ever get your rabbit, you did not say? When I was in school we never had pet day. I wish we did. I had a lovely dog I would have loved to show my friends from school.

My kids want to own a pet but I do not think they have the time to take care of it so I said no.
