People Neglect Mother Nature

Just read a post in facebook about how a river in our locality smells so bad. The poster said people caught in traffic at the bridge over that river can smell the foul odor coming in from below. It was due to chemicals, and other assorted wastes thrown in by people living around the river. They did not mind the negative effect of their careless actions. They are slowly killing the river that was once so beautiful and had clear water that emanate from a spring.

The poster fears that soon the river will die due to people's irresponsibility. They did not know the importance of that river, also the underground water which are continuously being polluted. The water supplier for all the communities gets water from groundwater. No wonder so much chlorine and other purifying chemicals were used to make water fit for human consumption.

People should know that their carelessness in throwing pollutants can also affect them through the water being supplied to them by the local water utility office. What comes around, comes around, as the saying goes.

People should wake up and be more responsible to save mother nature.

It's such a sad reality when people fail to realize the importance of taking good care of mother Earth. And just like that any other cliche movie, the realization will dawn upon human civilization when it's already too late.

That is true, and saddening to see people just throwing everything at rivers and seas, even on the ground soil. They did not know that in the long run, they too can be affected by their irresponsibility.

So saddening but true. So we have the responsibility to help convey the message through our writings/blogs. Hope they can be enlightened.
