Cyberbullying, and How Bad It's Gotten

Hi guys,

Late evening yesterday I noticed PiinkSparkles uploaded a new video on YouTube about''cyberbullying''and how bad it's gotten. In the video she sounded really pissed off, and fed up with it because she's tired of people putting each other down, and damaging people's lives. I felt so many things at once that I wanted to comment on, but I felt like I had to be careful because there are bullies on YouTube everywhere. I've been so sick of kids being nasty to other kids, and then getting kids to kill themselves. I am fed up with it as well. Amanda Todd was mentioned in the video because she experienced horrible hate, and drama enough it got her to the point of committing suicide. When I searched Amanda on YouTube there were some videos of her singing, so I watched one, and I am saddened she left earth at such a young age. She was such a beautiful teen with an amazing singing voice. Those who don't bother to stop bullying others get help or you will live in regret if you caused a person to choose death. PiinkSparkles even mentioned that recently people have been messaging her about people throwing hate badly at them, and that they want to know what they should do about it. Her response to this is actually I good idea. Block anyone that is bullying you online even if they create a new Facebook just to harass you again just do it again. Now, if they won't get the idea get proof of it to get themselves in hot water to stop it. Nobody deserves to die no matter if it's whatever you believe in relating to Jesus, if you are gay, or if you've made stupid choices. There are things I don't agree with what people do in their life, but I don't bully them for it I leave them alone like other people don't anyway. Sorry for a long post, but this is SERIOUS.

Bullying has gotten SO bad over the years. I was bullied in elementary and middle school quite a bit, but I see kids now a days be so hateful to each other. It's unreal and so sad. Watch the movie "Cyberbully" It'll make you think.

I agree this is a serious problem. Having a block button on any site and teaching kids to use it and not get into reading seems really important. Learning to ignore and not be affected by cyber bullies is not easy. It is just so sad we are losing young people because of it.

I agree, bullying is rife over the internet these days, and it's getting worse. Bullying used to only happen in schools, but now it's everywhere. People don't seem to care anymore, which is a great shame.

@DanieGirl8587 Yeah I've gotten that impression recently, and I've seen Cyberbully numerous times actually. It's a really sad movie. HappyLady That's easier said then done, but I get your intentions. I wonder how many parents a day know when their kid is on the web or that's if parents bother watching what their kids do online anymore. When I was a teen my mom would make us have computers we used go a certain side she was able to see what we were doing just to protect, and have rules. I've gotten a bit bullied online, but I don't care those losers are going through computers in their power, so I shouldn't let it affect me. If I could or ever would do this maybe the next time I ever run into a suicidal person or bullied person online I tell them''why do you care what they say they are hiding these negatives on their dumb computer your more important then a computer that is getting used for hate''. I don't know just a thought lol. Louemham Yup!!
