Modern Haiku

Many people think of Haiku as five-seven-five syllables per line, and written about nature. Many other countries have made their own versions of Haiku. While it may stick to the five-seven-five syllable pattern, modern Haiku can be about anything. When I write a haiku myself, I often write about something that happened in my day, or how I'm feeling at the time; see below.




Some time to myself

Nephew is taking a nap

Taking time to write.
