Results of Cataract Surgery

I had cataract surgery on my left eye back in May. The doctor does not want to give me an eye glass prescription because my eyes have not settled yet. I now have 20/20 vision in my left eye. I do need reading glasses and I am using a magnifier to read the smaller print.

I have not had any serious problems since the surgery. I've noticed that my left eye is less sensitive to light. All in all, I am very happy with the results of the surgery. I'll still need bifocal eye glasses but the portion of the lens for far distance will be just a plain lens.

I am happy to read that you haven't had and problems with your eyes since the cataract surgery. How was your vision before the surgery? My mother had cataract surgery on both eyes when she was in her late 70s. Before she had the surgery, she said there was like a black veil over her eye.
