Summer Has Arrived

Summer has arrived in our part of Kent. The flowers have all come out the shrubs are flowering showing their real beauty. Hubby is out mowing the lawn and trimming the hedges that surround our glorious garden. The birds are singing and using the bird bath flapping their wings in the cool water. We have bees buzzing all over the Lavender which is just about to burst forth with the lovely flower heads and that wonderful scent that wafts all around the garden.

Tomorrow is going to be wet so I thought It would be nice to share this wonderful day with you.

Summer has pretty much arrived where I am too. Glad to see several days of sunshine in a row!

After all that wet and miserable weather it is so nice to see the sunshine.

What a wonderful peaceful post. Thank you for sharing. It's hot here in California with minimal blooming due to our severe drought.

It's unusually dry here. We are on the usual water restrictions for watering the lawn. Which is fair enough.

That does not sound much fun being so dry. Hope it rains soon.

I expect we will have water restrictions if this goes on much longer.

That is the kind of day we are having here today. Time to get out and tend to the yardwork. Not too hot, so just perfect.
